ASL-012 "Confusion Reigns" (John vs Robin)

Last Friday evening, Robin and I finished our game of ASL-012 "Confusion Reigns". I had the defending Germans, whilst Robin had the attacking Americans. American balance meant that the Americans had to achieve a CVP parity of 3:2 (instead of 2:1).

Unfortunately for Robin, the German SAN eliminated the American 9-2 leader in the very first turn, and this very much put Robin on the back foot for the entire game. Robin showed plenty of courage and kept fighting until the final game turn, and we were both entertained by bravery, futility, and a lot of HOB results.




But without the 9-2 to tame the German MG nest in level 2 of 23V3, the Germans always had the upper hand in the game, with the final CVP score going well in favor of the Germans 25-17.
